Considered George Fernandes an icon: Nitin Gadkari

Nagpur (Maharashtra), Jan 29 (ANI): Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari expressed his condolences on the death of former Defence Minister George Fernandes. He said, "I offer condolences at his passing away. He committed his life to the country. He fought for justice for trade unions. I considered him an icon". Former Defence Minister George Fernandes passed away on Tuesday at the age of 88.
