New Delhi, Feb 03 (ANI): Ahead of Delhi Assembly elections, Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik said that they are monitoring instigating speeches during the election rallies; they had also deployed more than 40,000 staff and 19,000 home guards for security arrangements. "I would like to assure that Delhi Police made detailed arrangement. More than 40,000 staff will be deployed from Delhi Police itself and 19,000 home guards have been deployed. Few months back, we've handled Lok Sabha polls very professionally," said Police Commissioner. "The instigating speeches are being monitored and in some cases, the Election Commission has also taken cognizance. The vulnerable locations will be covered and no obstacle will be entertained during elections," CP Amulya Patnaik further added.

Venture Capital firm Antel India is planning to invest USD 25 million, or about Rs 211 crore, in 50 startups in 2025, the company said on Wednesday.

At least 20 per cent of cybercrimes in India involve attackers using dark web, according to a report by cyber security firm Lisianthus.
The dark web is a platform on the internet that can be accessed using special tools. It is usually very difficult to trace the identity and location of a dark web user.
"At least 20 per cent of cybercrimes in India involve the usage of the dark web by online attackers," the study conducted by Lisianthus Tech said.
The attackers used the dark web for cybercrimes like data breaches, hacking, phishing, ransomware, identity theft, sale and purchase of banned products like narcotics and weapons.
The study is based on a detailed analysis of several cases of cybercrime reported across the country, said Khushhal Kaushik, founder and CEO of Lisianthus Tech.
The study was conducted on a sampling basis over a period of two months which concluded last week, he said.

Karnataka BJP president B Y Vijayendra on Wednesday said the Enforcement Directorate (ED) probe into the MUDA case has vindicated his party's stand that this scam was not limited to the irregularities in 14 sites belonging to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's family.
He noted that the investigation by the ED in the preliminary stage has uncovered over Rs 700 crore worth of irregularities.
Vijayendra also raised doubts over the inquiry conducted by the Lokayukta police into the matter.
"We have been saying that thr MUDA scam is not restricted to the allotment of 14 sites to the Chief Minister's family... I had said earlier also that it's a scam worth hundreds of crores of rupees," he said in a press conference here in Kalaburagi.
He said his statement was not a mere accusation, but a charge now proved by the ED probe.
"The ED has carried out an impartial probe. Preliminary investigation has revealed that more than Rs 700 crore worth scam has taken place in MUDA site allotment."

The Supreme Court Wednesday transferred to CBI two FIRs lodged against West Bengal BJP leader Kabir Shankar Bose pertaining to the 2020 scuffle between his security staff and Trinamool Congress workers.
A bench of Justice B V Nagarathna and Justice Pankaj Mithal gave its judgment on a plea filed by Bose seeking direction for transferring the investigation into the case to CBI, an SIT or any independent agency from the West Bengal Police.
"In the peculiar facts of this case a writ of mandamus is issued to the respondents to hand over the investigation papers pursuant to the two FIRs to the CBI along with all records for its completion so that if necessary, the trial may commence, and justice is done to the parties," the bench said.
Bose had also sought a stay of investigation and further proceedings in FIRs lodged against him by the West Bengal Police pertaining to the alleged scuffle.
