Leaders of BIMSTEC nations pose for group photo

Salcette (Goa), Oct 16 (ANI): On the sidelines of BRICS-BIMSTEC Summit in Goa's Salcette, leaders of BIMSTEC nations posed for a group photo on Sunday. Leaders, including Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Bhutan Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay, Myanmar Foreign Minister Aung San Suu Kyi and Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena, arrived for the Summit on Sunday. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decision to invite the leaders of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) countries for the BRICS outreach meetings has been well received by the members of the little-known grouping. BIMSTEC comprises of Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Myanmar and Thailand.
