Mediators appointed by SC meet Shaheen Bagh protestors

New Delhi, Feb 19 (ANI): Senior advocates Sanjay Hegde and Sadhana Ramachandran, the interlocutors appointed by the Supreme Court to persuade Shaheen Bagh protestors to change their venue, held discussions with the dissenters at the site of the protest. Speaking to the media persons prior to the meeting, Hegde said, "We have come here according to the order of Supreme Court. We hope to speak to everyone. We hope to resolve the matter with everybody's cooperation." The protest in Shaheen Bagh has been going on for over 2 months now. The protesters have blocked a road which is causing distress to commuters on Kalindi Kunj-Shaheen Bagh stretch. SC had appointed Sanjay Hegde and Sadhana Ramachandran as interlocutors to resolve the issue.
