OFB units of Tamil Nadu get approval for manufacturing PPEs

Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Apr 16 (ANI): Amid the shortage of personal protective equipments, Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) units of Tamil Nadu got National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL)'s approval for manufacturing of coveralls in fight against COVID-19. The first consignment was dispatched to HLL Lifecare Ltd. Ordnance Clothing Factory of Avadi in Tamil Nadu has started to manufacture PPEs which includes gloves, masks, coveralls etc. While gloves and masks cover only hands and face respectively, the coveralls cover almost all parts of body protecting the doctors and health workers from contagious infection of COVID-19.
