One dead after fishing boat catches fire, Indian Navy provides assistance

Karwar (Karnataka), Sep 06 (ANI): A fishing trawler, the Jalpadma, caught fire three nautical miles outside the Karwar naval harbor. One crew member died and another member was seriously injured. After the information was relayed to the Indian Navy, one naval Fast Interception Craft (FIC) and a tug were dispatched to the trawler to provided assistance. The incident took place when a fishing boat with fishermen on board caught fire after the cooking stove exploded.
