We respect dissent, peaceful protests: RS Prasad

Patna (Bihar), Dec 29 (ANI): Union Law and Justice Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad addressed a public meeting over the matter of National Register of Citizen (NRC) and Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA). Addressing the public meet, Prasad condemned the film personalities supporting anti-CAA protests by raising slogans. He said, "We respect the dissent. We also respect peaceful protests. Some film personalities attended a protest in Mumbai, they must be ashamed of themselves. Because they were raising slogans, 'We want freedom'. Who raises such slogans? We have to be careful of such dangers."
