Will support 'One Nation, One Election' if it will not affect federal structure: Farooq Abdullah

New Delhi, Jun 20 (ANI): While speaking to mediapersons on Thursday in Delhi, former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Farooq Abdullah on 'One Nation, One Election' said, "I would say that a committee should be formed on this subject who will examine it so that it won't affect the federal structure. This is the reason because of which there are differences on this subject so that there shouldn't be any possibility of bulldozing the Constitution. People are worried about the government's intentions. If the subject doesn't affect the federal structure, then we will support it and if it will affect the federal structure, then we won't." Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday informed that a committee will be set up to explore the possibility of holding simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly polls.
