Firefighters battle wildfires across the UK

New Delhi, Jul 08 (ANI): Firefighters have been battling blazes breaking out in open grass across the UK. First major fires were reported on Saddleworth Moor, just outside Manchester, over a week ago. Since then North Wales has faced "unprecedented" wildfires with emergency services saying the they are under "tremendous pressure" as they battle to curb its spread. Similar grass fires have broken out in north-west, mid and south Wales, Malvern Hills near Worcester, moorland near Alton Towers in Staffordshire and Wallasey on Merseyside.There were more than 100 grass fires reported in the Liverpool area in last week
