'Major Defence Partner' a 'special designation' for India: Richard Verma

Washington D.C., June 08 (ANI): United States Ambassador to India Richard Verma said that the U.S.-India defence relationship is bound to act as an anchor of stability, given the increasingly strengthened cooperation in defence. Asserting the United States recognises India as a 'Major Defence Partner', Verma said it is a special designation for India. He further said that it is been a great visit, many important outcomes from civil nuclear cooperation to identifying India as 'Major Defence Partner'.
