Karachi, May 13 (ANI): A passenger bus in Karachi came under attack on Wednesday by gunmen, who killed at least 41 people and injured nearly 20 others. Six gunmen on motorcycles opened indiscriminate fire on a passenger bus in Karachi's Safora Chowrangi area. More than 60 people, including children, of the minority Ismaili Shia community were said to be travelling in the bus. Some reports suggest that the gunmen entered the bus and then opened fire. The attackers then fled the spot. The motive behind the attack is unclear, and no terror group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. The Ismaili passengers, who belong to the Shia Muslims community, were the target of the attack, the police have reportedly said. The bus belonged to the Ismaili housing project - Al-Azhar Garden Colony - based in Karachi.
