Nepal PM promises constitutional amendments after polls

Kathmandu, Nepal June 09 (ANI): The newly elected Prime Minister of Nepal, Sher Bahadur Deuba, has promised constitutional amendments after the second phase of local polls, which are scheduled on June 28.Prime Minister Deuba acknowledged the responsibilities that lie on him to make the constitution acceptable and honor the grievances of the people of Madhesh. He further claimed that the time is yet to ripe for the amendment to be passed.
