PM Modi interacts with South African alumni of Indian institutions

Durban, July 09 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday met the South African alumni of Indian institutions in South Africa's Durban city. The alumni included those who went to India under the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) scholarships, the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) programme and the Know India Programme (KIP) Prior to this, Prime Minister Modi visited the Phoenix Settlement near here that was set up by Mahatma Gandhi in 1904. This is the Prime Minister's first visit to Africa. Apart from Mozambique, South Africa and Tanzania, he will also visit Kenya.
