PM Modi makes strong pitch for UNSC reforms at G4 summit

New York, Sep 26 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a week long visit to United States of America, attended the G-4 summit on Saturday. The G-4 grouping comprises Brazil, Germany and Japan, besides India. The leaders of these four nations focused on reform of the UN Security Council. Voicing his concern about Security Council's reform, PM Modi said that Security Council must include world largest democracies. He added that trends in demography and migrations are posing new challenges. He further elaborated that climate change and terrorism are new concerns and that cyber and space new frontiers of our opportunities and challenges. After the G-4 deliberations, Prime Minister Modi will then travel to San Jose, California, where he will visit Tesla Motors and meet top officials of IT companies, including Tim Cook (Apple Inc.), Satya Nadella (Microsoft), Sundar Pichai (Google) and Shantanu Narayen (Adobe).
