Match Day 24 of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2025 delivered yet another action-packed evening at the SMS Indoor Stadium in Jaipur. In the opening clash Telugu Titans hand Guajarat Giants yet another loss in the season after winning the match by 30-29. Later in the second match of the day Jaipur Pink Panthers beat U Mumba 6-4 in the tie breaker after both teams ended the 40 regulation minutes of the match ties at 38-38.
Match 1: Gujarat Giants vs Telugu Titans
The Telugu Titans edged past Gujarat Giants 30-29 in a nail-biting Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 clash at the SMS Indoor Stadium on Tuesday, grabbing vital points in their campaign.
The Titans started brightly, with Vijay Malik opening the account and helping his side establish an early 3-0 lead. Gujarat struggled to get going, but Aryavardhan Navale and Visvanth V chipped in to reduce the gap. Despite the Giants’ resistance, the Titans maintained a slender 12-10 cushion at half-time.
The second half, however, swung Gujarat’s way. Substitute Mohammadreza Shadloui turned the momentum with a series of impactful raids, supported by Rohit Nandal’s strong defensive effort. The Giants inflicted an all out to surge 18-14 ahead, showing signs of control. With Shadloui dominating, they kept a narrow lead deep into the game.
But the Titans were far from done. Bharat Hooda produced crucial raids, while Malik continued his fine form to drag the team back into contention. A decisive all out turned the tables, pushing the Titans into a 24-23 lead. From there, Hooda and Malik combined to stretch the advantage further, putting the pressure squarely on Gujarat.
Although Shadloui launched a late fightback with some sharp raiding, the Titans kept their composure in the closing moments. Holding their nerve under immense pressure, they sealed a thrilling one-point victory.
Hooda finished with nine points and Malik with seven, ensuring the Titans overcame Shadloui’s heroic late show to clinch a memorable win in front of an electrified Jaipur crowd.
Match 2: Jaipur Pink Panthers vs U Mumba
Jaipur Pink Panthers pulled off a thrilling victory over U Mumba, edging them 6-4 in the tie-breaker after the two sides were locked at 38-38 in regulation time at the SMS Indoor Stadium, Jaipur. Nitin Kumar starred with a Super 10, while Reza Mirbagheri and Vinay made key defensive and raiding contributions. For U Mumba, Sandeep’s Super 10 went in vain.
The Pink Panthers made a flying start, surging to a 6-0 lead within five minutes, with Nitin and Mirbagheri dominating early. They quickly inflicted an all out, stretching the score to 9-1. But U Mumba clawed back, with tackles from Lokesh Ghosliya and a Super Raid from Sandeep bringing them back into the contest. An all out on Jaipur just before half-time handed U Mumba a slender 17-16 lead.
The momentum stayed with U Mumba in the second half as Sandeep completed his Super 10 and led his side to another all out, extending the advantage to nine points at 33-24. Jaipur looked down and out, but Nitin and Mirbagheri sparked a late resurgence. With under five minutes left, the gap was cut to single digits, and Nitin’s brilliance in the dying moments closed it further. A crucial tackle from Deepanshu Khatri levelled the scores at 38-38, pushing the match into a tie-breaker.
In the decider, Jaipur held their composure, executing decisive raids to secure a narrow 6-4 win, capping off one of the most dramatic finishes of the PKL Season 12 Jaipur leg.
