India's investment in artificial intelligence startups remains weak

Artificial intelligence (AI) startups in India raised a total of 166 million in 2024 in 32 funding rounds, significantly lower than its peak of 518.2 million in 2022.  As for the unicorns, the country had only one unicorn in the previous year.
