The proposals have a total estimated cost of Rs 7,725 crore and an employment generation potential of over 280,000
According to the note of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), these projects are at different stages of implementation
The Chennai-Kanyakumari Industrial Corridor is part of the East Coast Economic Corridor in Tamil Nadu
The total cost of the project is $653.5 million, of which the government will provide $202.5 million
