Adidas has reportedly cut around 50% of the workforce at its Gurugram Tech Hub, potentially affecting nearly 350 of its 700 employees. The layoffs include software engineers, data scientists and data engineers, as the company restructures its technology organisation. Employees were informed during a September 15 town hall, with some exiting immediately and others staying until December 15 for handovers. Adidas says India remains strategically important, even as it streamlines operations amid broader technology-sector layoffs and AI-driven restructuring.
