Schools will not take advance fees till lockdown continues: CM Gehlot

Jaipur (Rajasthan), April 11 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has directed all school directors in the state to not take advance fees of three months from the students till the coronavirus lockdown continues. CM was reviewing the situation of academic session of all educational institutions including schools and colleges through video conference.Taking decision in the interest of students, CM Gehlot said that name of any student should not be cut off for not depositing fees. He also directed to promote all school students to the next class except students of class X and XII board exams.CM Gehlot also directed all schools and colleges to arrange for online lectures and e-learning, so that students continue with their studies and could fruitfully utilise their time being at home.It was decided in the conference that summer vacation could be declared in all the institutions related to higher and technical education in the state from April 15, but there will be no summer vacati

'People should cooperate in fight against corona': CM Gehlot

Jaipur (Rajasthan), April 11 (ANI): Reviewing the situation of corona infection in the state through video conference, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot said that it should be ensured that people wear a mask in 196 urban areas and agriculture markets in the state to prevent the spread of corona pandemic. CM directed officials to implement the 'Bhilwara Model' in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Churu, Tonk, Jhunjhunu, Banswara, and other districts to control the situation.In the meeting, CM said that curfew should be strictly imposed in 38 areas and no person, including the government employees, should be allowed to either enter or exit the curfew areas. CM Gehlot asked for installing cameras for effective online monitoring of corona infection in hotspot regions. This would help in the strict monitoring of the movement of people. COVID-19: 52 people tested positive in Delhi's Chandni Mahal, says DC Nidhi Srivastava

New Delhi, Apr 11 (ANI): 52 people were tested positive for COVID-19 in Delhi's Chandni Mahal area. District Commissioner of Central Delhi, Nidhi Srivastava said, "Out of 102 people from Delhi's Chandni Mahal area 52 people have been found positive for COVID-19. They have been hospitalized, and others were sent back to quarantine." Delhi's Chandni Mahal area was also declared containment zone to curb spread of deadly virus.

13,500 PPE kits enroute Delhi, informs Health Minister Satyendar Jain

New Delhi, Apr 11 (ANI): Giving updates on coronavirus situation in Delhi, Health Minister Satyendar Jain informed that around 13,500 PPE kits are being transported. COVID-19: Delhi Government seals 5 more hotspots in Delhi

New Delhi, Apr 11 (ANI): Number of containment zones in Delhi was raised to 30. Five more areas were added including Nabi Karim, E pocket GTB enclave, street no 18 to 22 of Zakir Nagar and nearby area of Abu Bakar Masjid, Zakir Nagar.
