The Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed by the Andhra Pradesh Government visited the Tirumala godowns on Monday. The nine-member team, headed by Inspector General of Police (Guntur Range) Sarvashresth Tripathi began its probe into alleged use of animal fat in ghee used in making the Tirumala laddu prasadam.
