Who is Virendra Kumar?

Virendra Kumar is an Indian politician from Madhya Pradesh who has held significant positions in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Indian government. Kumar won the 2024 Lok Sabha election from Madhya Pradesh's Tikamgarh constituency with 715,050 votes out of 1,098,390 total votes or 65.1 per cent of vote share, while his main opponent Indian National Congress candidate Khuman Ahirwar managed to secure 28.38 per cent of vote share. Virendra Kumar retains the positions of Union Minister for Social Justice & Empowerment under the newly formed govt after the 2024 LS polls.

Educational Background
Born in the Tikamgarh district of Madhya Pradesh, Kumar completed his education at the University of Sagar, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. His academic background has provided him with a solid foundation for his political career.
