Rallis India has registered net profit of Rs 42.53 crore in the financial year ended March 2006 compared with Rs 33.50 crore last year.
 
Despite a weak agricultural season, the company increased its marketshare with pesticides revenue growing by 8 per cent. The company's international business rose by 24 per cent.
 
The board of directors have recommended a payment of 7.5 per cent to preference shareholders and a dividend of 40 per cent to equity shareholders.
