Royal Orchid Hotels Ltd today reported over two-fold increase in consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2012, at Rs 10.65 crore, compared to the same quarter last fiscal.
The company's net profit for three months ended March 31, 2011, was Rs 4.80 crore, it said in a filing to the BSE.
Its net sales for the quarter under review increased marginally to Rs 45.67 crore against Rs 45.43 crore in the same quarter last year.
For 2011-12, Royal Orchid Hotels posted consolidated net loss of Rs 2.62 crore. It had reported a net profit of Rs 12.22 in 2010-11.
Its net sales for the last fiscal increased by 18.72% to Rs 180.55 crore from Rs 152.08 crore in 2010-11.
The firm's scrip was trading at Rs 42.45 per share, down 1.05% from the previous close on the BSE.
