Union Minister for Communications and Information Technology A Raja today said he would propose an extension of three years beyond 2010 for the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) scheme. He said this on the sidelines of Economic Editors conference in New Delhi.
The National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM), in its bid to salvage small and medium IT companies, has been seeking a five year extension on STPI scheme.
