The company is engaged in developing, operating and maintaining the Mundra Port. It had received the approval of the Government of India for developing a multi-product SEZ at Mundra and surrounding areas, spread over 2,658.2 hectares (about 6,568 acres).
The company reported a 12 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 210 crore (Rs 187 crore) in FY2007-08 on the back of a 41 per cent jump in operating income at Rs 817 crore (Rs 581 crore).
