Country's biggest IT services provider Tata Consultancy Services flared 7 per cent to Rs 1,893 on nearly three times its normal volumes on high expectations on results. The counter saw volumes of 4.4 lakh against the usual 1.9 lakh on the BSE on Wednesday.
 
The company had posted strong gains in its total revenue in the March quarter as a result of assimilations and mergers.
 
It reported increase of 12 per cent and 11 per cent in its sales and profit during the March quarter and is to post its results on July 18.
