Nickel spurted by Rs 15 per kg to Rs 1,075 from Monday's closing levels of Rs 1,060.
Copper scrap heavy looked up by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 471 from yesterday's close of Rs 466.
Copper cable scrap and copper armiture both gained by Rs 4 per kg each to Rs 479 and Rs 464 from Rs 475 and Rs 460.
Copper sheet cutting went up by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 458 from Rs 455 and Copper utensils scrap inched up by a rupee per kg to Rs 437.
However, brass utensils scrap slipped by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 310 from Rs 315.
Tin slid by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 1,337 from Rs 1,340.
Lead softened by a rupee per kg to Rs 121.
