Infant crushed to death by wild elephant

The incident took place last night near Rajaji National park when the jumbo attacked the victim's residence, they said.

One-year-old Nazira was killed on the spot while her mother was seriously injured in the incident and admitted to a nearby hospital.

Further probes are on, they added.
