Devi's husband Heera Lal Raigar had been arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau last week for taking bribe on behalf of her.

Raigar had demanded bribe from a ward level public representative to get a sanction from his wife for some developmental work. After verification of the complaint, a trap was laid and the accused was held by the ACB.

Devi disappeared soon after her husband was arrested.

Complainant Bagti Chand approached PCC chief Chandrabhan about the pradhan. A three-member committee has been set up, which will submit its report in the next seven days, party sources said.
