Pramati Technologies, a Hyderabad-based company engaged in enterprise software and Web 2.0 application development, is all set to launch a new software widget for enterprises by the end of this financial year.
“We have just started the alfa on the product and plan to release the beta version with five US-based companies on January 15, before rolling it out commercially by the end of the current fiscal,” Jay Raghavendra Pullur, founder and chief executive officer of Pramati, told Business Standard.
The company is now in the process of engaging a go-to-market consultant in the US, he said, adding they were primarily targeting to tap the English-speaking markets including India, Australia, the US and some parts of UK to start with.
To be launched under Pramati’s new business division, SocialTwist, the company plans to offer the new widget as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) for small and medium enterprises and large companies with the monthly subscription being about $30 per month.
Pullur said the company expected its revenues to touch $10 million (approximately Rs 50 crore) this financial year, as compared with $6.5 million (Rs 32.5 crore) last year on the back of its services business and increasing demand for its widget for websites — Tell-a-Friend. The company has deployed its widget on 10,000 websites so far.
