Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India’s largest software exporter, on Thursday said that it had partnered with Swedish aerospace and defense company Saab AB to set up its local Aeronautical Design and Development Centre (ADDC).
“ADDC will create a single source of design and development capabilities within India, in addressing domestic and the global defense and civil aeronautical applications,” said TCS in a statement to Bombay Stock Exchange.
Ake Svensson, chief executive officer of Saab in the statement said, “This cooperation is not limited to any specific product but is aimed towards building a joint capability to leverage collective strengths across the globe."
