Nifty 50 ended higher after successfully defending the key support zone of 25,150–25,200, which coincides with the 200-EMA and the rising trendline, highlighting strong buying interest at lower levels. While the index continues to trade below its short-term moving averages—indicating near-term caution—immediate resistance is seen at 25,400–25,450, followed by a stronger supply zone at 25,600–25,650, aligned with the 20/50-EMA cluster. Momentum indicators point to easing selling pressure, with RSI stabilising near 40 and MACD signalling a slowdown in downside momentum. Intraday action reflected short covering and dip buying in the latter half, keeping the index range-bound with a mild positive bias. As long as 25,000 remains intact, the broader structure favours consolidation rather than a sharp breakdown.
