Stock Market LIVE Updates: Nifty has remained in the bears’ grip, as the index stayed below the 21 EMA for yet another session, confirming a bearish short-term trend. The RSI also maintained a bearish tone, continuing with its bearish crossover. On the lower end, the index once again found support at the 50 EMA. However, repeated retesting of a moving average within a short span raises doubts about the strength of this support. Overall market breadth remains weak. A decisive slip below 25,700 could trigger a correction towards 25,500–25,400. On the higher end, the 25,950–26,000 zone is likely to act as a crucial resistance area.

Stock Market LIVE Updates: Tata Chemicals Ltd on Wednesday said it has raised ₹1,500 crore through the allotment of non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on a private placement basis.

 

The company has allotted 1,50,000 listed, unsecured, rated, redeemable, taxable, non-cumulative non-convertible debentures, having a face value of ₹1 lakh each, for cash, it said in a regulatory filing.

Stock Market LIVE Updates: Shares of Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Ltd. rose nearly 4 per cent on Wednesday after it said that it was empanelled as an official partner of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. for 5G Fixed Wireless Access (5G FWA) services.

 

The software products maker's stock rose as much as 3.77 per cent during the day to ₹25.2 per share, the biggest intraday rise since December 10 this year. The stock pared gains to trade 1.9 per cent higher at ₹24.8 apiece, compared to a 0.26 per cent advance in Nifty 50 as of 12:32 PM.

Stock Market LIVE Updates: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Wednesday said that reducing the debt-to-gross domestic product (GDP) ratio will be the government's "core focus" in the next financial year.

 

Speaking at the Times Network’s India Economic Conclave, Sitharaman said it is crucial to bring down the debt-to-GDP ratio, which crossed 60 per cent during the Covid period. “It is already coming down, but we need to reduce it further, and this will be a core focus in the next financial year,” she said.

 

The finance minister also urged states to focus on lowering their debt-to-GDP ratios. Citing data and Reserve Bank of India (RBI) documents, she said there are areas where debt levels are a cause for concern, without naming specific states. READ MORE
