Stock Market LIVE Updates: Nifty attempted a recovery after the open, supported by IT-led buying, and moved toward the 25,850–25,900 resistance band once again. However, repeated supply in this zone triggered intraday profit booking, pulling the index back below 25,750 before it settled near the previous close. This price action confirms the continuation of a range-bound structure rather than a directional breakout. 

 

Momentum indicators are showing early signs of stabilization, with MACD improving, but the index still trades below its short-term 20- and 50-day EMAs, keeping upside capped for now. The 25,900–26,000 zone remains a critical hurdle, reinforced by heavy Call OI at 26,000. A decisive breakout above this band could open the door toward 26,100–26,200. Until then, consolidation within the broader range is likely to persist.
