Meta appears to be collaborating with Google to curb misinformation on WhatsApp, its instant messaging platform. After introducing the reverse image search feature for Android users, this tool is now reportedly being tested for the web version of WhatsApp. According to WABetaInfo, the feature will help users verify the authenticity of images shared on the platform and provide additional context about them.

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 series, expected to launch during the Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22, 2025, could feature three models, much like its predecessor. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is set to lead the lineup, with improvements anticipated in performance, camera technology, and display quality.
   
The second-generation OnePlus Open foldable smartphone is reportedly under development. According to reports by SmartPrix and 9To5Google, the OnePlus Open 2 may debut in the first quarter of 2025, possibly in March. The upcoming model is expected to deliver enhancements across various areas, including design and performance.
   
In light of the EU’s new regulations requiring USB-C connectivity, Apple has reportedly withdrawn iPhone models featuring the Lightning connector from sale in the region. According to 9To5Mac, the iPhone 14 series and iPhone SE are no longer available in many European countries, including Germany, Spain, France, Italy, and Portugal. Technology companies were given a deadline of December 28 to comply with the new mandate.
   
Vijay Sales has reintroduced the "Apple Days Sale," offering discounts and bank deals on a range of Apple products, including iPhones, MacBooks, iPads, Watches, AirPods, and Beats audio devices. Customers can avail of instant discounts of up to Rs 10,000 using ICICI, SBI, and Kotak Bank cards. Additionally, the retailer is providing up to Rs 10,000 in bonus value on trade-ins for in-store purchases. The sale runs from December 29 to January 5, 2025.
