Danish Siddiqui is unusually composed for someone whose name is about to go up on the honours list of arguably the most important journalism prize in the world. “I have never worked for any praise or recognition,” he says, an immense calmness perceptible in his voice. “When you have the passion to genuinely make a difference, you invariably end up doing good work.”
