Geojit BNP Paribas Financial Services today reported a decline of 10.42 per cent in its net profit at Rs 11.26 crore for the quarter ending December 31, 2010.
The financial services firm had posted a net profit of Rs 12.57 crore in the October-December quarter in 2009, the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
However, the company's income from operations has risen to Rs 68.46 crore in the December quarter from Rs 66.71 crore in the year-ago period.
Shares of Geojit BNP Paribas Financial Services closed at Rs 30.85, up 1.15 per cent from previous close on BSE.
