Higher inflation temporary, not structural in nature, says Raamdeo Agrawal

On the occasion of the release of the 24th Wealth Creation study, which places Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank and TCS amongst top three wealth creators during 2014-2019, Raamdeo Agrawal, chairman, Motilal Oswal Financial Services says that it may take at least six months for the economy to recover. In an interview with Vishal Chhabria, he says that the recent rise in inflation is temporary and believes that it is a matter of time that consumption will pick up. Edited excerpts:
