Srikalahasthi Pipes bags Rs 1,053-cr orders

Out of these orders, Rs 891-cr orders were for drinking water supply network being built as part of the Telangana Water Grid project

Public listed company Srikalahasthi Pipes Limited(SPL) has bagged orders worth of Rs 1,053 crore for supply of ductile iron pipes in the current month.

Out of these orders, Rs 891 crore orders were for drinking water supply network being built as part of the Telangana Water Grid project. The supplies for the project will start from the end of this month and will be completed by the end of March, 2017, according to the company.

The company has secured these orders from infrastructure companies including L&T, NCC, Megha Engineering and Infrastructure, Indian Hume Pipes, KLSR Infratech among others.

"Such huge orders from reputed customers for this prestigious project of Telangana government are a testimony for the quality of ductile iron pipes manufactured by SPL," the company director G S Rathi said in a statement.
