Tata Group company Tata Metaliks today said its consolidated net profit stood at Rs 14.69 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2009.
The company had a net loss of Rs 202.96 crore for the third quarter ended December 2008, Tata Metaliks said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Total income of the company rose to Rs 292.77 crore for the third quarter ended December 2009, against Rs 177.40 crore for the same period in the previous fiscal.
On standalone basis, the company posted a net profit of Rs 20.34 crore in the said quarter, while it had a net loss of Rs 218.31 crore in the same quarter last year.
Shares of Tata Metaliks were trading at Rs 158.30 on the BSE, up 2.96 per cent from previous close.
