Warburg Pincus invests in Au Financiers

Au Financiers (India), a non-banking financial company, has raised $50 million from Warburg Pincus and existing investor International Finance Corporation (IFC). The investment will be primarily used to fund future growth of the company and will also provide some liquidity to early investors. Au Financiers has a network of about 150 branches across 7 states in western and central India.
