With six straight cuts, petrol down by Rs 1.49 in Delhi, Rs 1.48 in Mumbai

Prices of Petrol and diesel were cut for the sixth consecutive day on Tuesday on lower global crude oil prices.

According to the Indian Oil data, petrol prices are down by 10 paise across major cities, except for Chennai where petrol rate has been cut by 11 paise.

Petrol is currently being retailed at Rs 81.34 in Delhi, Rs 86.81 in Mumbai, Rs 84.53 in Chennai and Rs 83.19 in Kolkata.

Overall, petrol price has come down by Rs 1.49 in Delhi and Rs 1.48 in Mumbai in the last six days.

Diesel prices also saw a similar decline.
