Panel For Seventh Coal Wage Pact Set Up

The joint bipartite committee for coal industry (JBCCI) has been constituted for negotiations of the seventh national coal wage agreement (NCWA-VII) more than a year after the new agreement should have been implemented.
The NCWA affects the entire coal industry having 6.5 lakh workers and also forms the base of similar agreements in other private and public sector mining companies.
