Training Programme for Foreign Police Officers at NCRB concludes.
67 Participants from 26 countries attended the Training Programme

The Minister of State for Home affairs Shri Haribhai Parathibhai Chaudhary attended the valedictory function of the training programme of the foreign police officers at the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) here today.

The Minister also distributed certificates and prizes to the participants on this occasion. He appreciated the work of NCRB in organizing such training programmes for the national and international participants.

The training programme at NCRB is being conducted for foreign police officers since 1990 under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) and Special Commonwealth Africa Assistance Programme (SCAAP) of the Government.

NCRB conducts six courses on Information Technology and Fingerprint Science on three occasions in a year. The current training programme is attended by 67 participants from 26 countries which is the highest ever participation.

Earlier, in his welcome speech Director General, NCRB Shri Radhakrishna Kini A highlighted the achievements and new initiatives taken by the NCRB in imparting training on Information Technology, Cyber Security & Fingerprint Science.

Diplomats from the Foreign Mission of the participating countries were also present at the valedictory function.
