F&O Update: Nifty futures end at 28pts premium

The Nifty September futures ended with a premium of 28 points at 4,510 as against the spot Nifty which closed at 4,482 - up 130 points. The counter recorded trades of around 5.22 lakh contracts and the open interest (OI) increased by 42.39 lakh shares to 3.47 crore shares.

CALL ACTION

The Nifty September 4,600 and 4,500 calls were the most active counters with trades of around 1.25 lakh and 1.05 lakh contracts, respectively. The 4,600 call open interest increased by 10.85 lakh shares to 36.88 lakh shares, and the open interest in 4,500 call was down by 15,150 shares to 30.48 lakh shares.

 

The Nifty September 4,700 call witnesed trades of around 62,600 contracts, and the open interest increased by 4.63 lakh shares to 19.72 lakh shares.

The Nifty 4,400 and 4,800 calls saw trades of around 34,600 and 31,000, contracts, respectively. The 4,400 call open interest increased by 3.28 lakh shares to 29.67 lakh shares, and the open interest in 4,800 call rose by 4.48 lakh shares to 16.93 lakh shares.

PUT ACTION

The Nifty September 4,400 and 4,500 puts were the most active counters with trades of around 68,200 and 67,100, contracts, respectively. The 4,400 put open interest increased by 8.65 lakh shares to 29.76 lakh shares, and 4,500 put open interest rose by 5.41 lakh shares to over 16 lakh shares.

The Nifty 4,300 and 4,200 puts saw trades of around 54,850 and 47,200, contracts, respectively. The 4,300 put open interest increased by over four lakh shares to over 51 lakh shares, and 4,200 put open interest rose by 49,900 shares to over 49 lakh shares.
