Upmove intact; Sensex up over 600pts

The Sensex is now up 603 points at 15,087.

Reliance Infrastructure and ICICI Bank have soared around 6.5% each to Rs 1,083 and Rs 732, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro, NTPC and SBI have surged over 5.5% each to Rs 2,765, Rs 183 and Rs 1,602, respectively.

HDFC, Maruti and DLF have rallied over 5% each to Rs 2,401, Rs 715 and Rs 520, respectively.

HDFC Bank and Jaiprakash Associates have also advanced over 5% each to Rs 1,310 and Rs 176, respectively.

BHEL and Sterlite have moved up nearly 5% each to Rs 1,817 and Rs 616, respectively.

Grasim and ONGC have added 4.3% each to Rs 2,040 and Rs 1,116, respectively.

 

Out of 2,692 stocks traded so far, 1,821 have advanced, 789 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
