Jeera futures for April fell by Rs 57.50, or 0.44% to Rs 12,960 per quintal in 9,297 lots.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), the May contract shed Rs 50, or 0.38% to Rs 13,120 per quintal in 7,104 lots.
Prices fell as traders reduced their holdings owing to increased arrivals of new season crop at spot market against sluggish demand.
Expectations of higher output further dampened the sentiment.
