KEC International gains on new orders worth 1,412 crore

The company has bagged new orders worth Rs 1412 crore in its Transmission & Distribution and Cables businesses.

KEC International has gained around 5% to Rs 94.90 after new orders worth Rs 1,412 crore in its Transmission & Distribution and Cables businesses.

The company has bagged transmission line projects in the states of Karnataka and West Bengal along with orders from Power Grid Corporation for projects in Jharkhand and Jammu & Kashmir.
 
Internationally, the company has secured orders from the African continent and from countries like United States, Brazil, Mexico and Chile.

The stock opened at Rs 96 and has hit a high of Rs 99.90 while around 13 lac shares have changed hands on BSE and NSE combined till 10:48 hrs.
