Shares of Sterling and Wilson Solar gained for the eighth straight session, frozen in 5 per cent upper circuit at Rs 230.60 on the BSE on Wednesday, after the company’s US-based subsidiary was awarded its largest solar project in the United States of America worth $ 99 million (around Rs 747 crore).
The stock has rallied 44 per cent in the last eight trading days from the level of Rs 160 on June 19, 2020. Till 11:33 am, a combined around 40,000 shares have changed hands and there were pending buy orders for 620,000 shares on the NSE and BSE.
