Amy Adams has been confirmed for the role of Janis Joplin in an upcoming biopic about the late rocker, which is set to be directed by Lee Daniels.
Daniels told the Hollywood Reporter that the 39-year-old actress will play the role of the boozy blues singer, the Hollywood Reporter reported.
